How a Catalog Is Made: From the Concept to the Finished Print
A product catalog should help customers explore the product range, find the right model, compare specifications, and understand the differences between available solutions. That is why both content and design are equally important: an attractive layout should also be clear and easy to navigate.
ACEX Drive develops designs and manages the printing of promotional materials. Below are the key stages of our workflow.
Key Stages
01. Understanding the Task
We review the brief and discuss the client's requirements to determine what materials are needed.
02. Preparing a Commercial Proposal
We develop a tailored proposal based on the requirements discussed during the initial stage.
03. Analyzing Competitors' Materials
We examine printed materials produced by direct competitors, focusing on their design and presentation.
04. Visualizing the Concept
We present the proposed solution so the client can review it and discuss it with their team.
05. Calculating Production Costs
We estimate the budget and agree on the technical specifications for the final product.
06. Developing the Design
We create the visual layout and refine it together with the client until final approval.
07. Preparing for Production
We finalize the print-ready files, coordinate production, and arrange delivery.
How It Works in Practice
One example from the ACEX Drive portfolio is a corporate catalog developed for SKUDO, a manufacturer of security systems.
The project began with gathering information and developing a creative concept. The team then prepared the content, designed the layout, incorporated revisions, and moved on to printing.
The catalog features equipment images, technical specifications, and tables. White pages with detailed product information alternate with bold red spreads showcasing individual devices on a larger scale. The consistent visual style brings the different sections together into one cohesive publication.

From a Single Brochure to a Complete Publication
ACEX Drive works with catalogs, brochures, flyers, and other printed materials. Clients can involve our agency at any stage of the project, depending on what has already been prepared and what support is required.
